Download this, and make sure you either delete the channels in /etc/smart/channels or rename the channels. Then

chmod a+x aptosmart.sh

Then as root, run the script like this;

./aptosmart.sh /etc/smart/channels

The aptosmart options are as follows

aptosmart.sh [ - v ] [ - f ] [ - s SOURCE cunning ] listing

v verbose, f overwrite channelfiles s selects another SOURCE than /etc/apt/sources.list
